I seriously hate Mondays. I don't want to go to school. I don't mind my first class, it's my second class. My math teacher is a complete and utter ass. Hopefully, the day will go by fast and then I can come home...a.k.a sleep.

There is nothing worse than having to leave your warm cozy bed and head out into the cold for work. Yuck. I just realized that I still have not received my driver's license and it expires tomorrow. This means that if I don't get in the mail today, I shall most likely be spending Wednesday morning in line at the DMV. Oh joy, and to top it all off, it's my birthday tomorrow.

I was in school yesterday from 10 till 4 for CPR training. I passed my practical & written tests. My knees are bruised from kneeling.

Gonna spend the day listening to the summer theme mixes I made and catch up on my reading.
Tonight is The Tony Awards and season 3 of True Blood :) yeah for good tv.

Still have this wretched cold that will not go away. Just when I think I am over it, it comes back to say "I'm not through with you yet!"

Haven't had the chance to finish "Beautiful Creatures" due to school & Thanksgiving. When I come home from school today, I plan to plant myself in a comfy chair, with tea, cough drops & tissue and read to my heart's content.

I have a week break before I start my 3rd Quarter. I plan on watching some movies and catching up on my reading.

As from the title of the post, I am extremely tired. This week is finals week for me. I have already had one test yesterday-Medical Terminology-which I passed with a B. I am very happy with this grade, as this was a very tough class for me. Today I have 3 tests: Math, English & Anatomy! Thursday I only have one test in Computers.

Then it is a much needed break~only one week though :(

I plan on sleeping, catching up on all my reading and hopefully watching Bright Star & Inglorious Basterds. Hmm, that is an odd pair.

It is getting harder for me to wake up in the mornings. I find myself so tired. I just have two weeks left until the end of this quarter, and then we have a small break. Only about 2 weeks, before the next quarter begins. Yesterday I took a nap, and when I woke up I thought it already was the next day. It was one of those "disorienting sleeps."

Only two classes today, thank god. Today is my Friday! I plan to watch the two DVD's I rented: The Tale of Desperaux & Wall-E, sometime this weekend.

I want to get this bag at Target, I find it so cute! Yellow with a purple lining. I don't have a yellow bag, and normally don't really care for the color-but this one screams out BUY ME!

I just read this book again and it's even charming a second time around. If you haven't read this book, run don't walk to a bookstore!

This is my favorite movie so far this year. It was very charming and original! I took my 2 nephews (one is 17, and the other 14) and my niece (she's 8) to see this movie, they all loved it as much as me. Although I have to say they do have sophisticated taste for kids there age( I'm not biased :p). My nephew who is 14 has now discovered The Smiths, thanks to the movies awesome soundtrack. Now if I can only get him into Crowded House!

Holy Crap it has been quite awhile since I last posted in here. I shall try to blog more, although these days I'm either on tumblr or livejournal. I started school in April, taking up Medical Assisting-which is about an 18 month course. Almost every waking moment is dedicated to studying. Weekends are going by in a blur, just when I think I have relaxed enough-Monday rears it's ugly head.

So it's been awhile since my last post! I did get sick, and wound up going to the emergency room! I couldn't blink and my face felt numb, scared the beejezus out of me, so my mom took me to the ER last Monday. Where the doctor diagnosed my illness as Bell's Palsy.

What is Bells Palsy? Bell's palsy is a paralysis or weakness of the muscles on one side of your face. This condition comes on suddenly, often overnight, and usually gets better on its own within a few weeks.

The main symptom of Bell's palsy is a sudden weakness or paralysis in one side of your face that causes it to droop. This may make it hard for you to close your eye on that side of your face.
Other symptoms include:
Drooling.
Eye problems, such as excessive tearing or a dry eye.
Loss of ability to taste.
Pain in or behind your ear.
Numbness in the affected side of your face.
Increased sensitivity to sound.

So basically I am taking some anti-viral & predisone medication. I think I just had a mild case of it, since I do seem to be getting much better. I actually can move my eyebrows and can taste food now. I have a follow up appointment with a neurologist next monday! So basically I have just been staying home, not really doing anything except watch movies and veg out.

I recently watched "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" because I was really bored and wanted something cheesy. All I can say is I love Amber Tamblyn, she is so cute! I went to the mall with my mom the other day, I guess she felt bad for me and she bought me a pair of high-top black converse chucks!

Going to make some tea, and read more of Breaking Dawn!

I love discovering new music! I recently started listening to Ray LaMontagne. OMG! His voice is just so darn sexy! So I immediately set out to download the rest of his music, and see what he looked like:

He's pretty darn cute, and I usually don't like beards! Check him out, he does a phenomenal cover of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy.

I also recently discovered Missy Higgins, Laura Marling, Lenka & Marjorie Fair. I have also been listening non-stop to Belle & Sebastian, Rilo Kiley, & Teddy Thompson.

The Hills-I'm really getting sick of Lauren. But I loved watching Whitney & the Aussie Guy flirt.
Real Housewives of Atlanta-I remember when Bravo actually had quality television. That being said, I do watch it though. How could you not watching a superupherass bitch like Sheree, or a totally fakeperoxideblond like Kim? I do love NeNe though!

My niece & nephew have given me a present. A bloody COLD. Yuck! Children are the bearer of diseases. This morning for breakfast, I made toad-in-the hole and it was very yummy! Afterwards, I wanted to have a nice cuppa of tea when I realized we don't have anymore. Had to settle for coffee. It's not that I don't like coffee (I love it) but I was really craving tea. Need to tell my mom to get some.

So yesterday I asked my 13 year old nephew, what songs he was listening to ( we always ask this of one another). He listed a couple of songs and then he dropped the bomb....somecraptasticpieceofgarbage by New Kids on the Block. My response of course was that he clearly was joking, but unfortunately it was true. He made me listen to it...and it has no redeeming qualities. Jesus, why couldn't they have stayed in retirement. I hated them when the were popular and still can't stand them now. Yuck!! There is still hope for him, usually he has good taste in music, I'll just call this being a teenager/tween (whatever the term is). I slept early last night, but I still feel so tired. I already had one cup of coffee, looks like I'll need another one.
